What does Respect feel like to you? In my bio-home respect was silence and obedience. We were expected to submit to severe violence and abuse and obediently stay silent about it, something I could never do. The bullies who reared me thought respect meant freedom to judge, batter and damage with impunity. They thought they were good people. All I knew was it hurt to be alive. I learned and healed the hard way - through experience: if you want to be respected, learn to respect the self. 🥰☮️🐝💙SS
