I've never been embarrassed by the books I read. I've never called them guilty pleasure because I never felt guilt 😅 My genre has been erotica for more than a decade, and up until a few years it was not what most people admitted to enjoying. There's been a lot of misconceptions over it but it has always been my safe space. The one I go back to when I need it the most ❤️ I will die defending that erotica is a serious genre, it is timeless. 1/3

5 分鐘內	Ana Filipa Ferreira adeselnadavies	2/3 Reading different books on smut/spice/erotica, whatever people are calling it these days, and comparing it between different time periods will always be fun to me. I remember finding comfort in reading a lot of viking/pirates/medieval books from Harlequin. "But those books are not good" - who cares? I dreamt of studying those books and compare them to what would be accurate of that time period! Because literature is art above everything else
