Apparently I'm supposed to get 234g of protein a day and I honestly have no idea how to even do that without the use of protein powders which I'd like to avoid. Any fitness people have tips? I feel like I'd have to eat chicken breasts for 4 meals a day and still barely make it.

That’s way too much. Is it possible that you should eat 234g of proteinS per day? As in 1/2 lb of meat/beans/etc?

I weight 280 and do around 240g of protein a day. It’s a task. Kind of boring and you have to meal prep. If you’re eating protein like that it’s important you’re getting your soluble vegetable fiber and eating clean. I do Broccoli, Bananas and rasin bran. Non fat yogurt. A substitute for protein powder is Pasteurized egg whites you can just drink with a bit of non fat chocolate syrup. Lean proteins like ground turkey, fish and chicken are good. Good luck!

Protein powder is fine if you get whey isolate and is a good ingredient for recipes or drinking straight. The issue with many whey powedwrs is whey concentrates which are often loaded with sugar and adulterants. Don’t be scared of it but whole food is definitely ideal.

Nothing wrong with a protein shake if you can't eat it all through whole foods. But you can expand into Greek youghurt, eggs, etc.

1 scoop or 2 of Whey protein will help you alot. Eating a lot of meat/chicken can cause problems as well, like high uric acid, which might affect your liver at later stages. That’s what happened to me so I had to reduce my meat intake and replace it with Protein shakes Of course always consult a professional that can help you with a balanced diet between Protein Powder/Meat/chicken/fish.

Smoked salmon, cod filets, turkey jerky, all helpful. Going to need protein powder to get anywhere near that goal, but it will also be basically impossible to do so in only 930 calories. Where are these macros coming from? Are they for bulking or weight loss?
