Hi, do you have the ‘make chat GPT better for everyone’ setting turned off? Otherwise they’re going to use it for training (AKA plagiarising sections)

This gave me heart palpitations. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like this gives ChatGPT access to use your work because it can’t really create new content. I know a couple of authors who had their finished book taken into AI sources without consent or compensation. When I played with AI, I asked for comparable titles, and it combined author names with other words and suggested books that didn’t exist. AI isn’t going away, but I hope it can be put in ethical boundaries.
