Wife and I at our son's wedding in Victoria. Flew @westjet. On the way here they changed our arrival by a few hours later and now we have just checked in for the return flight. An hour after the window opened and all that is left is middle seats in different rows. I guess we could pay to sit together but Holy crap that is some bad customer service. Definitely won't be flying Westjet again if I can help it. poorcustomerservice

Clearly, all the window & aisle seats were taken by folks who chose to purchase/secure their seats of choice so they wouldn’t have to go on social media & complain about not getting a seat they want. Yes, air travel & everything that goes along with it does stink, but suck it up, pay what you need to pay to be happy & deal with it. Consider yourself lucky you’re even in a financial position to afford air travel. 🙄🙄

一天內	Jennifer Lee jenandadam	Last week - Vancouver to Halifax wjrh my 9 year old. I have the westjet credit card and with the rewards level I have I get free seat selection. Checked in and he’s now 16a and I’m 17a (windows). Told by agent that that’s considered “together” one row apart and wouldn’t offer any more help. Spent a little extra time getting him settled into his seat and the couple assigned to those seats asked the flight attendant what was up, she checked my boarding pass and told me I’m in 17a.
