The DNC failed to counter the anti-trans crusade of the Republicans, but, even worse, it failed to connect how restricting abortion and IVF access overlaps with restricting gender-affirming care. We all deserve bodily autonomy and self-determination. We must discuss reproductive justice with the nuance it deserves. Trans men, trans masc folk, nonbinary folk need abortion access. Queer and trans couples need IVF access. And cis folks access gender-affirming care often with considerable ease.
