If you can get some licorice root you can add it to water and bring to the boil. Add a couple of spoons of honey and allow to cool then give it to your dog in their water bowl. Not a cure but acts a a suppressant and soothes. Used this for many years when fostering rescues, it really helps.

Spoonful of good quality honey 2-3 times a day. Sorts it out in a day or 2. Used this to treat my dogs and many streets dogs in rescues!

As has been stated on here it’s highly contagious so do not take your dog to the vet. When my boy got it the vet advised bone broth to ease the cough and see how he was after a week. Cleared up on its own without any medicine. As with human doctors vets don’t dish out pills readily. Hope your pup is ok ❤️

Please go see a vet. Tell them it’s suspected kennel cough. They’ll put you in an exam room right away. It’s very, very contagious. Please don’t take home remedies. See a Vet asap. Keep him away from other dogs until you do.

My vet has a separate exam area for dogs with suspected contagious illnesses. I would suggest calling your vet and setting up an appointment to make sure that your dogs don’t develop pneumonia or a worse infection.
