Dear flower gardening people, What can I fill my patio pots with for some (UK) autumn/winter colour without it looking like a municipal park from the 1960s? Love, a vegetable gardening person (who doesn’t really understand flowers) 💚

2 小時內	Rowena Hackett rowenahac	Maybe plant some narcissus and tulip bulbs deep, in a layered "lasagne" and top with violas/pansies. The tubs will take quite a lot of bulbs in a layer. Remove pansies/violas when they go over and Narcissisi push through.

7 小時內	Rose Gazarek rosegazarek	I like to use the Croton in the Fall and pair with ornamental cabbage. Grass goes good if you have it. Rosary beads hanging if you have them but not necessary. This is not my photo but similar to what I have done in past years.
9 小時內	Rigsby rigsby_the_ebt	Another vote for heuchera and tiarella, if you have space mix three complimentary colours and they look beautiful plus they flower in the summer. I can’t seem to keep heather alive despite it surviving in the highlands! Suburban London is too much for it!!😆
