My monochrome imagery has always been about the FEELING over all else aesthetic (color can overpower and distract). These singular petal pieces are about momentary memory… glimpses of a life lived where so much has faded away but the emotion lingers. “Petal II” (charcoal on paper) is now up at the_art_trust for Odyssey with @darlajacksonsculpture and katherinefraser!
