We act like it never happened because we have some perspective and understand that most of the world went through the same thing and this narrative of “worlds longest lockdown” is Murdoch press propaganda.

I lived alone throughout it all and suffered immensely. But then i also saw relatives die from covid and say to myself I'm glad i didn't interact with people and got sick myself. My whole perspective on life changed and am now more social than ever before. Appreciate life now

There are many people still carrying trauma from that time and unchecked or acknowledged it will often erupt in subtle behaviours and seemingly unrelated ways. Often they’re not even aware of what the cause of their trauma is. People are acting as though it never happened because they do not want to relive it, that is how many people deal with trauma.

We were locked down for 175 days on the border by two state governments - it wasn't fun but it's over. Nobody knew how to manage this epidemic. We move on and get back to living life!
