Jesus' sacrifice wasn't just for those who were already righteous, but for those who are imperfect, those in need of grace, you and I. John 3:16-17 [16] For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
