I was one of those kids, too. Great days.

Sadly, I got a few of the first ones as a kid, but they were without covers and in those "remainder packs" where companies in the early '60s would take unsold comics, declare them as such by ripping off the covers and sending the covers to the distributor, then put several random copies in a bag with a "Comic Value Pack" top tag, and resell them at a bargain price.
