I am not a picante aficionado or anything, and I honestly cannot tolerate picante much higher than a small amount of chipotle in my food; but a little heat makes most savory foods taste better. I even add a bit of ground cayenne to my French and English cuisine, which would never call for anything more than black petter.
Furthermore, being able to tolerate at *least a little bit of picante* is correlated with **overall better health outcomes**.
