when Fred Harris asked my class what the most likely indicator of party affiliation was, it was both surprising, and yet not at all, that the answer is simply what your parents are. As a kid, I was taught to despise Dems because "they think they're smarter than you, so they just want to control..." Fast forward decades. GOP clearly wants to rule and not represent. through any means necessary. Dems want to expand voting / representation. There is no other choice: straight blue ticket.
