Deerkeds! The most annoying and terryfying insect in Norway. I got bitten two years ago and i still have dark marks from the bites on my back. And it was itching for months. Sometimes i can get 50 of them on me in some seconds. They just pop up from the ground and it’s no use hitting them because of the hardened body. Their claws wont let go before you take them off one by one with your fingers. They show up in August every year. Moose have been found with up to 16000 Deerkeds on them. Flies
