Never forget this day, August 28, where in 1955, a 14 year old boy was taken from his family’s home in the middle of the night and beaten, tortured, and ultimately killed because he complemented on a white woman. Yes, a 14 year old…several of us have had or currently have a teenager. Yes, times have changed, but I just think about the fact that 69 years isn’t that long ago. #neverforget #EmmittTill
