I work at a trauma informed alternative high school. These kids have seen and done some serious shit. I’m doing my best to teach them to think critically because that helps them in school and on the street. Today tho, most of my time was spent either breaking up one of the four fights we had or calming kids down after the fights. I restrained three people today during two fights. When I say I’m emotionally exhausted…. Sigh… these kids need us. Hopefully we are making an impact on some of them 1/
