Google maps doesn’t work here.

NAVER is great but Kakao Maps seems to have more accuracy. I’ve been to Korea 3 times and I used Kakao maps, Kakao Taxi and Navigo the most. Google map works for public transport schedules

Because there is still a state of war between North Korea (DPRK) and South Korea (ROK). There are conditions for the provision and storage of maps by international entities, and the display of certain sites and infrastructure is a matter of national security. Google and Apple both argued and appealed against this but security came first. Just use Naver maps.

naver maps or kakao maps though naver is better in english - google maps works for public transportation
