I keep seeing gatekeepy posts trying to discourage people from writing if they can't meet this or that expectation. I probably just got on the wrong side of threads, but can't we all agree that we should be encouraging each other? If writing isn't for someone, they'll figure it out. No need to discourage someone who might actually be great and just needs a few kind words to keep going. How about we all be kind? It costs nothing and uplifts the giver, too.
