What’s hard about the freelance design life for me personally is feeling dull sitting in front of a laptop all day long. I love the designing and ideation but I’ve felt so lonely over the years. I have forgotten what it’s like to have coworkers. I have missed being outside and interacting with people while I work. I love creating but perhaps the overall sedentary experience has made me tired and unfulfilled even though my clients and I are quite happy with the finished product.

12 小時內	Neil at LaunchBox launchboxdesign	This is the hard thing about freelancing. You have to schedule time with with friends and be extra-conscious of self-care. I like to mix up working spaces. I love libraries. It gets me a little more routine. Plus at home I get interrupted every 15 minutes. :)

There are times that I’m so motivated and happy working on my designs, sitting alone in front of my computer but then there are days that I feel I will vomit just knowing I will sit again, no one to talk to. Or being sad while working, feeling hopeless. But then again, comes a new day, back to being myself. So I guess (for me), it’s pretty much a normal cycle as a designer working from home. Just have to create recreational activities and sun for sure! 😁☀️
