In my previous role at a SaaS company client services team, I had to learn when to say NO to client requests.
🚫 When the custom request does not benefit at least a few other clients.
🚫 When there are viable workaround solutions for it.
🚫 When it is a major change that would impact all clients.
The goal was to maximize development time for high priority requests🏆 There was a lot of future considerations in decision making. This is where years of experience at the company proved to be valuable.
