I was giving a pedicure to a lady today who is 95 years old. We have the same name but she pronounces it different. She was asking about my childhood and I of course told her. At three years old I was taken from my Native tribe and put into foster care because at that time Native Americans had no rights. (It changed in 1983) This beautiful woman full on started crying and says “I’m so sorry” So yeah I basically adopted a grandma today. @native__american__pride
