Last night in dtown LA near 9th and Broadway I saw two of the most depressing things ever. 1. Young man sitting up against a building under bright scaffolding lights shooting heroin. Building video surveillance most likely caught the whole thing. I hope he lives to see another day. 2. At late night eatery, multiple LAPD partners rolled up to grab takeout. While waiting, on their phones like zombies. Except couple holding hands oblivious to all HR concerns. All caught on surveillance cams.
