Throw back Thursday to when my husband was returning from deployment in 2012. I can still remember how nervous I was as I got in the car and headed to the airport. Nervous because we had only talked on the phone and through sending pictures through Facebook and by mail for a whole year. He’d came home for R&R but, it was harder then when he left because the kids didn’t understand why he had to leave again.
