"Strawberry" gets encoded before being processed so the llm doesn't actualy know what the word looks like and as such how it's written. That's also the reason why you can get weird answers for "what's the longest five letter word ?". To get a proper response you have to send each letter as a seperate token i.e. "S t r a w b e r r y".
