Most of the voters don’t dig into the metrics that you’re describing. Sue Bird herself said on the podcast that she’ll use the eye test and it clearly Clark is the rookie of the year. Describing an outlier situation doesn’t apply in this case, or Clark has been clearly the best rookie. Further, I think most of the rookie class will have great careers, but in the end, Clark will clearly and decisively separate herself from the rest.
