Co-parenting is not a flex. It's a failure. We make the best of our situations, but I feel like the way we talk about it makes people who don't have kids yet think it's a normal, acceptable thing. You don't want to be a baby's mom. You don't want to be a baby's dad. You don't want to miss out on stuff because it's the other parents day to have the kids. You don't want to spend holidays without your kids because it's the other parents turn. You want to tuck your kids in every night.
