Yep, I'm rewatching season 1 right now and am enjoying it more than I remembered. The visual design is just great, super reminiscent of the movies. A few things could be paced better, but it's minor issues for me.

Not all complaints are bigotry.. The armors look like cheap plastic Characters teletransport around when convenient to the script. Ships from numenor cheap and small Numenor army cheap and small and somehow is charging in the middle of nowhere, who are they charging against? there is no enemy. Galadriel character is one dimensional The harfoots leave their commrades behind to die, what! In short, cheap and most of the drama created for the convenience of the script, not logic

Love it. Ignore the haters

The only 100% canon is the Hobbit book and the LOTR trilogy published before Tolkien died, everything published after this is mainly by his son Christopher, which were put together from his dad's notes/writings. Those claiming it's not canon etc are talking out there asses!

Watch it and decide for yourself. I think it’s great!
