Not a direct response to the thread but if you want your screen to not crack please remove that keyboard cover and screen protector. TLDR: those hinges are made with super tight tolerances and anything between the screen and keyboard that’s thicker than the thinnest paper will crack the screen. It’s a matter of “when”, not “if”.
