I’m from DC. Not the DMV (I hate that people think that’s a thing). I’ve always felt for folks from LA, Hawaii, NY…cities and places folks think they know. Because there are real locals from the place, we have our own lingo, food, music, culture, etc. But we’re perceived a lot of times by the transplant community. That’s fine, but you have to fight the perception people have. …that’s a long winded way of saying I’m not surprised how this Keith Lee food tour turned out in DC.
