31 years ago I stood in my bathroom in Dublin hearing this concert echo over the city. It was the first concert ever broadcast live globally via satellite 🛰️ and the day I fell in love the music of U2 and tech. A few years later I’m studying SDH/DWDM to build the internet and explaining how we synchronise satellites to accurately measure data over continents. I remember Barry Rhodes RIP asking me WTF was up with my U2 references 😆 Anyway, it’s great to hear it again. U2 at their best u2zootv
