My boy blocked in March of this year. He re-blocked 4 times (2 times because he removed the urinary cath himself). It took some experimenting with his meds to find the doses that worked for him, and I slowly weaned him off the meds over the course of a month. In total he cost me $6000; I am an RVT so I did save some money when I was able to treat him at my clinic, but he did spend 4 days at the ER.
