Try regions you may not have heard much about and use chat gbt to write the emails in Italian but admit you don't speak it yourself. Umbria, Emilia Romagna and Abruzzo in Particular have much lower prices than Tuscany or Lombardia. In my opinion Umbria and Bologna/Modena hills are just as nice as anywhere in Tuscany

I run a hotel in Tuscany and when someone books the entire property (12 rooms) for exclusive use, there are no further venue fees. 50k seems a lot, unless you are looking in places like Lake Como or Amalfi Coast?

Have you also factored in the actual paperwork fee of getting married in Italy? We eloped there in 2011 and paid a few thousand dollars. I assume it’s even more now. But also, I wouldn’t really put “affordable” and Italian destination wedding in the same sentence.

I recently stayed at a Villa on Lake Como for under €30k for the week -no additions. Popular for weddings and events. They rent minimum for 1-week. Next year will be €30k+
