My oldest started kindergarten a few weeks ago. Already, she has: 1) had another 5-yr-old evangelize to her (God made everything. He lives in heaven. You have to be good to go there). 2) been told "oh my god" is unacceptable language (teachers rule...they must say "oh my goodness") 3) taught to say the pledge of allegiance every day. I consider myself christian/spiritual (and american), but this stuff...just strikes differently now that I'm a dad. Can't say I'm a huge fan.
