I have a genuine question for the Marines of Threads: You take an oath “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies for an end domestic.” (Yes I am aware that other armed services have the same thing in their oath) How long are you bound by that oath? Does it end when you were discharged, or is it for life? Google was not helpful in this. ⬇️

Unless he’s no longer bound by his oath. I could be completely oversimplifying this; I have never served so I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking the Marines out there (or any service member) for their thoughts.

13 小時內	Laura Putnam putnam.l	The oath may not be forever, but the heartfelt sentiment most likely is. Marines are Marines until the day they die. It isn't merely something they did, it's who they are. (Of course, as we all know, there are exceptions.) My husband is a retired Marine 1st Sgt. He can't even look at Trump or Vance, and detests the sound of their voice. They are a disgrace and a threat to everything our military fights for.
