There is something special with Korean cinema and television. Not all of it, of course, but when it hits - it hits. The Frog, a new limited series on Netflix is one of the special ones. It isn't an easy watch so far. The emotion the actors bring to each scene can be heavy, real and without artifice. You root for and frustrated by them but their actions are believable. Glad to have this to watch going into the weekend. I'll need to resist the urge to finish it in a sitting.
