Honestly, the main reason I'm on threads is to see what's going on in author circles and look behind the scenes of writing. I make comics in my free time so I'm not really writing books but the advice and all the intricacies are still interesting and useful. And people are in general grounded, nice and positive. The bonus is it's adjacent to booktok/gram so I get to see the drama.
