Passionate people sometimes say nonsensical things, as in this quote from Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty: “In Florida, the governor has the sole discretion on when, whether, and for whom to set an execution," it said. "The process is shrouded in mystery and secrecy. We have no way of knowing how or why Loran was chosen, and no way of knowing who might be next." We know it will be from a small pool of people, convicted of heinous crimes and sentenced to death by a jury, right?
