Because toys Darth Vader is on a hard target search for Luke Skywalker. Darth Vader is clairvoyant. He saw a blurry display of a power generator and immediately knew that’s where the rebels were from across the galaxy. Han, Chewie, and Leia barely escape Vader in the falcon. Luke, on the ground, watches them fly away.
