Do folks really think " there but for the grace of God go I" is a comforting statement to say to someone who has had a significant loss? I mean doesn't that mean you're saying to them "sorry God didn't give you the grace that I have." Actually you're not even saying sorry, you're saying "Neener, neener, neener..God likes me better!" Stop it. Think before you speak.
