Just watched the series for the first time a few months ago on Amazon, they had the episode but added a warning before the episode began

Is that the blackface one? IDK why they do stuff like that either. The Michael Jackson episode of The Simpsons is similarly lost in streaming, so that we can’t learn and make our own judgements about things that might make us uncomfotable. MJ wasn’t even credited in that ep, and everyone knew Roger was so wrong in Mad Men, even rotten to the core Don.

Wow, censors really can be so so dumb. The whole sequence is supposed to show that Rodger belongs to the older generation and is cringey and out of touch. It does not show his character in a good light at all.

I wonder if since it’s not their content and they’re just licensing it, they can’t actually edit the episode? Cause I feel like the only other scenarios where I’ve seen something like this addressed is on a D+ where they own the content
