Participated in my first-ever “First Page Critique” yesterday. Good feedback but it was weird when they thought I have a background in poetry. Like um, no…just fiction. Long flowy sentences in a memory flashback scene = poetry? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sure, I have a ton of other stuff to do (downsizing move upcoming) but for a few hours today, I’m gonna disappear and write. All I need now is some rain. 🌧️📝☕️
