When you want your synth bass to have more space do not use reverb! If it is a Dubstep bass reverb is ok, but if it is a baseline to a house or techno song use chorus instead. It will give you more space and width, without muddying up your sound. Be sure to take some of the width down with a mid side EQ to avoid phase issues! Follow for more mixing advice 😃
