Take the phone, put it in a pocket in case something happens

Bring it, but do my best not to scroll. Mostly for safety reasons.

I take my phone because I walk in rural areas and might need help.

If I’m just taking the dogs out to play in the yard, I usually forget my phone. If I’m leaving my property, my phone is in my pocket in case of emergencies. I’m unfortunately unable to multitask if one of the tasks is walking LOL so I don’t go on my phone bc I’ll literally fall over. But if there’s an emergency, better bet that little brick is in my pocket 🫡

I always carry my phone in case of emergency, and also, because my dog is adorbs and I may need to snap a photo! I don’t look at it while we’re out though, I enjoy my time with her too much to be distracted.

I only take it sometimes and that's in case I see moose or eagles I'll want to take pics of.

I can barely take a video of my dogs walking in synchronization let alone scroll while walking them.

I have my phone with me, but I want to focus on my dog. I don’t listen to music either.

I tend to have my phone and an audio book on quietly whilst I walk with my dog :) nothing like a beach walk with Bonnie whilst listening to a book! Oh and I like my phone on hand to grab pictures of Bonnie having a blast!
