Hey guys, i’m planning on having a dog shortly and need your advice. So, I’m currently single, live on my own, work from office on a daily basis (will leave my dog alone most of the day😟) n i’m a couch potato🤦‍♀️. Tell me the dog breed that might be suitable for me based on their characters (proly not the highly active one)? *would definitely consider of adopting instead of buying. Thanks🙂 doglover

6 小時內	TeamTuckerk9 teamtuckerk9	I would say a senior dog that wants to lay around, do nothing and would just be happy to lay on the floor or couch whatever you prefer and have companionship for its last days vs. sitting in a shelter on a hard concrete floor.

Once you have this information, visit a shelter and for an older dog. Or adopt a kitty- they are more self-sufficient and will sleep next to you on the couch.

I'd suggest looking for a companion breed over a sporting breed. Adopting a senior would be great because you wouldn't have to accommodate that puppy energy while working. 💕
9 小時內	Liz Pring lizpring79	Why do you want a dog? You really shouldn’t be thinking about it if you’re already planning to leave it home all day by itself and you’re not planning to walk it loads. If you love dogs maybe consider go volunteering at a shelter or registering with something like borrow my doggy so you can occasionally spend time with a dog, but you don’t have to commit to one full time.
