Breaking the cycle of keeping every single little thing was SO hard. But doing so lifted such a heavy weight from my shoulders. My grandma was basically a hoarder. It was clean and safe, but FULLLLLLL. She kept *everything*. Cleaning out her house after she died was hell. Thankfully my mom learned from that and has cleared out most of her belongings except essentials and truly sentimental items.

Same 😩😩 when my parents redid their kitchen they had to put in supports because the attic is starting to sag from 40 yrs of stuff.
