Those saying that they can speak to their baby or soothe them and then keep driving etc….you know that’s exactly like the pickup, put down method of sleep training? Not all sleep training is CIO. The OP is right and it’s exactly like when you’re in the car and they are not happy. There’s so many ways to sleep train. It’s just helping your baby/toddler learn how to fall asleep without excessive help from a caregiver so when they wake during the night they just go back to sleep like adults do.
