A question for @jdickerson or any other presidential debate moderator on this forum. As I understand the proposed rules, the candidates aren’t allowed to bring notes with them. What would happen if, 10 minutes into it, Trump reached into his pocket and pulled out some note cards? Or Harris reached into her jacket and pulled out a photo of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein or something? Given the penchant for rule breaking and asymmetrical warfare by one of the candidates, this can’t be ruled out.
