Photographers of Threads what was your first camera and how did you afford to buy it? Mine was an Olympus OM10 and I bought it with money I won on Premium Bonds (asort of government backed lottery here in the UK). My mother bought me the bonds when I was born. So the rest of my life is her fault 😝

Had a cracking 50mm lens and added a 200mm zoom and a 35mm prime! Went through a Canon point and shoot phase for the days in the mountains, then Nikon D40, D5100, Z50 and Z6...
