1/3 While driving to Oxide Gallery in Sanford, NC today to deliver paintings, I reminisced about my first trip to Sanford many moons ago. It was in the mid 80’s, and I in my mid 20s, single, and in the market for a new car. I was interested in a Honda CRX and had heard good deals were to be had at the Honda dealership in Sanford so off I went. As I got out of my old car at the dealership, I was encouraged when greeted by a sales woman. Unfortunately that feeling didn’t last long.
